The Front Porch Swingin' Liquor Pigs
NR0004

Come join us every Friday at the Viking bar located on the West Bank, Cedar and Riverside, in Minneapolis, 6:30-9pm.

Any band that chooses a six-word name either lacks aspiration or suffers from delusional pretentiousness. Then we have "The Front Porch Swingin' Liquor Pigs". neither scrutable in their motivational tendencies nor capable of pretension, the name reflects this outfit's Tell It Like It Is approach to the song and dance routine that is band and audience.

This is Americana, authentic and authenticized American music, the way it is suppossed to be. Reverent, shifting, wheezing, whistling, salt of the earth Americana that makes you cross yourself for the day the Carter family came down from the mountain, tablature in hand.

Moreover, it makes you give thanks that A.P's "children" and grandkids care more about the song than the singer and are true believers that this train is bound for glory.
